Ringworms On My Dogs Belly

SUSO SABAKI

In all the martial arts where you use the hakama (kendo, iaido, kenjutsu, aikido ...) the problem arises at least initially to move with confidence when wearing this garment, a problem which is amplified in when you must go ashore or to make a call or to sit in seiza.

There is a gesture that is called 'upward sabaki' and indicating their displacement (defined as the use of hand-cutting) of the 'edge of' hakama with a quick gesture (see next image) to move the edges of ' hakama thus avoiding 'to sit above or stumble when we got up.

But remember that on one occasion my old Japanese sword master told us that this gesture commonly used could be interpreted as a gesture of arrogant or even rude, and therefore suggested to move the edges of 'hakama more discreetly, without using the hand but quickly throwing the weight of the body first forward and then backward and then this causes a rocking movement of the flaps' hakama and if you calculate the right time to go into seiza you get the same end result ...

admit however that it is quite complicated (-.-)' and must be repeated many times before I could ...
